Process | Education Execution – Supervision & Guidance |
Goal | Giving academic supervision and guidance to Clients for specific courses. |
What this means for you | Whenever a faculty or other 3rd party is involved in the Programme, he/she needs data to properly supervise and guide Clients. This is especially the case when guidance is given not only after, but also during an examination (consisting of assignments ans tests) a Client has to complete. |
| |
Process | Education Execution – Course Execution & Teaching |
Goal | Executing a course outline and teaching a course. |
What this means for you | During lectures, as well as in preparation for them, data is gathered and produced in order to fully execute the course outline. This may result in data from simulation systems, or assessment systems. Also, recordings may be made during lectures. |
| |
Process | Education Execution – Progress Monitoring |
Goal | Monitoring the progress a Client makes during its courses, and addressing any issues that may arise. |
What this means for you | RSM tracks the progress Clients make, both in terms of academic progress as well as participation in class. This progress may be assessed during or after a course has finished. |
| |
Process | Education Execution – Course Evaluation |
Goal | Giving feedback on the entire course a Client participated in. |
What this means for you | Data is collected in order to have a course evaluated by Clients. This anonymous data is processed into anonymous reports. |
| |
Process | Assessment – Examination Marking |
Goal | Marking and assessing a Client’s examination, optionally giving feedback, and establishing and administering the final grade. |
What this means for you | After an examination – consisting of both assignments and tests – has been completed by a Client, it is marked by faculty or other RSM 3rd parties, and feedback may be issued. These marks are administered, and whenever there are influencing academic circumstances, e.g. lack of participation or a detection of plagiarism, these may influence the final marks. |
| |
Process | Assessment – Determining Acquired Competencies |
Goal | Determining the competencies acquired by the Client during its Programme. |
What this means for you | After the grades per course are finalised, the overall score of the (parts of the) Programme is known and all Clients are evaluated on their total of acquired competencies. These acquired competencies may have been affected by personal circumstances for which exceptions can be made. |
| |
Process | Education Development – Course Material Distribution |
Goal | Evaluating whether a Programme met expectations, quality requirements, and whether the Programme had career-related consequences. |
What this means for you | Course outlines and other course materials distributed to Clients may contain personal data of faculty. They need to be distributed to Clients in order for them to prepare for courses, lectures and examinations. |
| |
Process | Education Development – Programme Evaluation |
Goal | Evaluating whether a Programme met expectations, quality requirements, and whether the Programme had career-related consequences. |
What this means for you | RSM takes part in international rankings, for which both the Client itself, as well as RSM needs to submit both statistical as well as personal data. Data RSM requires may therefore be collected from the Client to submit to the ranking bodies, but the Client may also be directly approached by a ranking body to provide information. |
| |
Process | Education Planning – Planning of Staffing & Resources |
Goal | Reserving a certain capacity of a party in order to be able to meet demand. |
What this means for you | Data is required in order to plan ahead in the scheduling of staff and resources for the delivery of a Programme. |
